Dear Friends,
Please join us in New York City from October 24 to October 26 for our seventh annual Poets Forum, where you will have the opportunity to engage with some of the most celebrated poets in the nation. I want to highlight a few of the exciting programs you'll be able to experience at this year's event. This year we are fortunate to have award-winning poet, editor, translator, and human rights advocate Carolyn Forché present the annual Blaney Lecture. If you are a poet interested in the publishing process, you can take part in a discussion with Kevin Larimer, editor in chief of Poets & Writers Magazine, who will provide best practices for submitting poems to literary magazines and presses. And, we have added two new literary walking tours for All-Events passholders--one exploring Herman Melville's downtown Manhattan and another exploring literary Brooklyn. I hope you will purchase your All-Events passes now to take advantage of our special summer sale, which ends August 31, and experience these programs for yourself. I look forward to seeing you this October!
Sincerely,
