[Fropki] The Gossip Girl

A woman repeated a bit of gossip about a neighbor.
Within a few days the whole community knew the story.
The person it concerned was deeply hurt and offended.

Later the woman responsible for spreading the rumor learned that it was completely untrue. She was very sorry and went to a wise old sage to find out what she could do to repair the damage.

"Go to the marketplace," he said, "and purchase a chicken, and have it killed. Then on your way home, pluck its feathers and drop them one by one along the road."

Although surprised by this advice, the woman did what she was told.

The next day the wise man said, "Now go and collect all those feathers you dropped yesterday and bring them back to me."

The woman followed the same road, but to her dismay, the wind had blown the feathers all away. After searching for hours, she returned with only three in her hand.

"You see," said the old sage, "it's easy to drop them, but it's impossible to get them back. So it is with gossip.
It doesn't take much to spread a rumor but once you do, you can never completely undo the wrong."

[Fropki] Naughty Dose of Laughter

A man and a woman were waiting at the hospital donation center.

Man: "What are you doing here today?"

Woman: "Oh, I'm here to donate some blood. They're going to give me $5 for it."

Man: "Hmm, that's interesting. I'm here to donate sperm, myself. But they pay me $25."

The woman looked thoughtful for a moment and they chatted some more before going their separate ways. A couple months later, the same man and woman meet again in the donation center.

Man: "Oh, hi there! Here to donate blood again?"

Woman: [shaking her head with mouth closed] "Unh unh."

Late at night this guy runs into a pub and demands a glass of water from the landlord. The guy drinks it in one gulp then asks for a second glass. Six pints later, and he has recovered enough to speak. "Thanks," he croaks.

"That's one hell of a thirst you've got," says the landlord.

The guy says: "Any man would be as bad if they'd just had sex with the woman in my car. She's insatiable. She wants me to go right back out there and do it all again, but I can't." "Where's your car?" the landlord asks. "At the

roadside," the guy gasps.

"Tell you what," says the landlord, "you watch the bar for me while I nip out and take your place." "Be my guest," the guy says. So the landlord goes outside and gets in the car. It's totally dark, so the woman doesn't realize she's

with a different man. And they get right down to it, humping away.

Five minutes later there's a knock on the window. It's a cop, and he shines his flashlight on the naked couple. "What's going on here?" he asks. "It's all right, officer," explains the landlord, "She's my wife." The officer replies

apologetically, "Oh, sorry sir, I didn't realize."

Looking at the woman the landlord says, "Neither did I till you switched on that damned light."

A man from the Internal Revenue Service knocks on a door and it is opened by a little boy.

The man asks the boy, "Where is your mother?"

The boy states, "She's in the backyard, screwing the goat."

The man exclaims, "Son, it's not nice to make up stories like that!"

The boy says, "Come on in and I'll show you."

So the taxman follows the little boy to the back of the house and looks out the window into the backyard. There, he sees a woman screwing a goat.

Disgusted, he turns to the boy and says, "That is gross! Doesn't that bother you?" The little boy answers, "Naaaaaaaaah!"

A guy is walking down the street and enters a clock and watch shop. While looking around, he notices a drop dead gorgeous female clerk behind the counter. He walks up to the counter where she is standing, unzips his pants,

flops his chop out and and places it on the counter. "What are you doing, Sir?", she asks. "This is a clock shop!!" He replied, "I know it is and I would like 2 hands and a face put on this!"

One time there was an army camp in Desert area that just received a new commander.

During the new commanders first inspection everything checked out except one thing. There was a camel tied to a tree on the edge of the camp.
The commander asked what it was for, one of the soldiers who had been stationed there for a while explained to him that the men sometimes get lonely since there where no woman there so they have the camel.

The commander just let that go, but after a few weeks he was feeling very lonely so he ordered the men to bring the camel into his tent. The men did, and he went to work on it. After about an hour the commander came out

zipped up his pants and said, "So is that how the other men do it?"

One of the men responded, "No we usually just use the camel to ride into town."

عجیب‌ترین والدین در میان حیوانات

در دنیای حیوانات نیز والدین حواسشان همیشه به فرزندانشان هست اما گاهی اوقات موارد عجیبی هم در میان آنها دیده میشود. برای آنکه بیشتر با این والدین عجیب آشنا شوید بهتر است تا انتهای این متن همراه ما باشید.

**مارمولک اسکینس

یکی از والدین عجیبی که میتوانید در میان حیوانات مشاهده کنید مارمولک اسکینس است. این مارمولک در هر دوره تخم گذاری 13 تخم می گذارد اما زمان تولد هر کدام از مارمولک ها ممکن است چند روزی با هم متفاوت باشد. حرکت عجیب این مارمولک مربوط به زمانی میشود که تخم هایش مورد حمله شکارچیان قرار میگیرد. در این زمان مارمولک مادر بچه هایی که هنوز به دنیا نیامده اند را میخورد تا به دست دشمن نیوفتند.

**شیردریایی هارپ

یکی از چندین گونه شیرهای دریایی که در قطب ها زندگی میکند بانام هارپ شناخته میشود. این شیردریایی برای بزرگ کردن فرزندانش روشی بسیار عجیب و غیر عادی دارد. شیرهای مادر پس از به دنیا آمدن بچه ها تنها دوهفته از آنها نگه داری میکنند و پس از این مدت بچه ها را در برف و یخ رها کرده و سراغ زندگی خودشان میروند. این بچه ها اگر بتوانند پنج هفته در این حالت دوام آورند می توانند به زندگی آینده امیدوار باشند.

** پاندا

یکی از بامزه ترین حیوانات روی زمین پاندا است و بسیاری از ما آنها را بسیار دوست داریم. پانداها موجوداتی در خطر انقراض هستند و مهمترین دلیل آن هم بی توجهی مادران به فرزندانشان است. پانداهای مادر از میان فرزندان تنها یکی را بزرگ میکنند و مابقی باید خودشان برای بقا تلاش کنند البته گاهی اوقات همان یک بچه هم کاملا تصادفی زیر مادرش له شده و میمیرد.

** گوزن

یکی از موجوداتی که فرزند خود را بسیار دوست دارد گوزن است. این موجودات با نهایت توانشان از بچه کوچک محافظت میکنند و نمیگذارند کسی نزدیک آن ها شود اما این نگه داری تنها تا روز تولد بچه بعدی ادامه دارد. با به دنیا آمدن فرزند بعدی همه محبت ها به بچه بزرگتر از بین میرود و مادرش او را رها میکند. این بچه باید خودش زندگی سخت و تنهایی را بیاموزد.

** کانگوروی قرمز

یکی با محبت ترین مادران دنیا کانگوروهای قرمز هستند این موجودات سه فرزند خود را در یک زمان شیر می دهند. این سه فرزند از سه گروه متفاوت، بزرگ که دیگر میتواند تنها زندگی کند ولی به شیر مادر احتیاج دارد و دو گروه دیگر بچه هایی هستند که در کیسه او زندگی میکنند. این محبت در شرایط مناسب وجود دارد و با فرارسیدن خشکسالی بچه بزرگ رها میشود که در اکثرمواقع میمیرد و شیر بچه های کوچک نیز نصف می شود تا مادر بتواند زندگی کند.

The Clouded Morning

The morning comes, and thickening clouds prevail,

Hanging like curtains all the horizon round,

Or overhead in heavy stillness sail;

So still is day, it seems like night profound;

Scarce by the city's din the air is stirred,

And dull and deadened comes its every sound;

The cock's shrill, piercing voice subdued is heard,

By the thick folds of muffling vapors drowned.

Dissolved in mists the hills and trees appear,

Their outlines lost and blended with the sky;

And well-known objects, that to all are near,

No longer seem familiar to the eye,

But with fantastic forms they mock the sight,

As when we grope amid the gloom of night.

Very was known as a scholar of William Shakespeare and he wrote almost exclusively in Shakespearian sonnets. Associated with the American Transcendentalism movement, Very gained recognition from Ralph Waldo Emerson for his sequences on religion and nature, and his graceful lyricism.

When he was released in 1839, Ralph Waldo Emerson helped him publish his collection Essays and Poems. Pleasure

by Katie Peterson

I remembered what it was like,

knowing what you want to eat and then making it,

forgetting about the ending in the middle,

looking at the ocean for

a long time without restlessness,

or with restlessness not inhabiting the joints,

sitting Indian style on a porch

overlooking that water, smooth like good cake frosting.

And then I experienced it, falling so deeply

into the storyline, I laughed as soon as my character entered

the picture, humming the theme music even when I'd told myself

I wanted to be quiet by some freezing river

and never talk to anyone again.

And I thought, now is the right time to cut up your shirt.

The Magic Show: Couple Make Baby on Stage

The new creative baby and maternity photo shoots coming out this season continue to impress us. The latest in a recent flurry of excellent photo shoots is The Magic Show, in which Anthony Stuart and his lovely associate (and wife) create a baby out of thin air.

The shoot is set up to look like a traditional magic show, with Stuart in a magician's getup and his wife dressed in a racy assistant's outfit. The couple's sense of humor is what makes the series to fun – the wife looks surprised (or shocked) at the baby inside of her, while the dad looks proud of his work. He then completes the trick by pulling their little "rabbit" out of the "hat."

Stuart has got other staged pictures with and without his daughter as well – there's one where she's dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, and another where he hunts his businessman friend in the woods with a pile of cheeseburgers.

It's no secret that we have the ability to program ourselves to believe and act in negative ways. The good news is that we're also blessed with the ability to program ourselves to believe and act in positive ways.
The starting point is awareness.
You must first become familiar with how your thoughts make you feel and act. Ask yourself, what thoughts make me feel happy, sad, jealous, mad, etc.? How do I react to my feelings? Once you have the answers to these questions, consider yourself aware.
When you're in touch with your feelings you're consciously able to program yourself for positive action. Next time you catch yourself in a thought that doesn't feel good, stop, and consciously choose to react in another way. When you re-frame your thinking, everything changes.

Forgiveness allows us to move on with our lives, leaving the mistakes of the past where they belong--in our pasts rather than in our present. I wish you the ability to see clearly when it's important for you to ask forgiveness for the hurts that you might have caused others. Often, we don't clearly see the results of our own actions, and others suffer needlessly, wondering why we've done what we've done. We often can clear the air and clear our lives and ease our minds with a simple apology, but we need to know when such an apology is necessary, and when one will be helpful.
I wish you the graciousness and the grace to accept apologies when they are offered sincerely. Such forgiveness is important both for yourself and the person who is apologizing; refusal to accept an apology affects you more than it affects the person who is apologizing. Accepting apologies is another way of saying "I am ready to move on with my life, and I am ready to put behind me the things that belong there." Forgiveness is one of the strongest healing forces in the world, and it must not be asked for or accepted lightly or without sincerity; it must also not be rejected when offered sincerely.

What truly matters
If the distractions are too compelling, then your goal is too small. To strengthen your focus, raise your ambitions.
Make your purpose ten times more appealing than anything that could distract you. Make your goal so meaningful and compelling that nothing can compete with it for your time and attention.
You absolutely have the power to do great things. Yet in order for that power to be effective, it must be applied consistently and persistently.
Decide to make good and significant use of your great abilities. Focus yourself, in the biggest way you can imagine, on what is genuinely important.
Give yourself the joy of fulfillment by giving yourself a big, bold challenge that's worthy of your efforts. Set your sights high, and make your moments count for something truly outstanding.
The world is overflowing with meaningless distractions, and yet they do not have to steal your life away. You can choose to focus your life on a magnificent expression of what truly matters.
