[AffirmationstoDe-Stress] MORNING COFFEE [4 Attachments]

Believe in yourself and set your standards high."
Next time you're tempted to settle for something less than ideal – a spouse, a job, a home, a friend's behavior… perhaps even a pair of shoes – stop!
You have many talents and inner strengths. Your gifts enhance life and nurture so many. You deserve and are worthy of far more than second best. So, why accept less?
Never settle! Be discerning. Be demanding. Instead of lowering your standards, wait for the quality you deserve. The wait will be worth it.

Perhaps the hardest thing to remember in the throes of a crisis is that every bad break can also be a blessing. There are always unexpected benefits in misfortune, IF we meet our crises with a shift in outlook.
Look back on your difficult times. See them in perspective. Did you make lemonade out of the lemons that were handed to you? We sometimes play our best hands when the chips are down. Perhaps our character works like a muscle: the more we exercise it, the stronger it gets!
I'm holding the high watch!

The good stuff
Every moment you spend thinking about the bad stuff pushes that much more of the good stuff away. That's certainly not what you want.
Every time you complain, you create more to complain about. Every time you feel sorry for yourself, you give yourself even more reasons to feel sorry.
Life does not throw negative things your way. Life throws all sorts of varied and diverse things your way, and you often choose to interpret them negatively.
What if you could choose differently? The fact is, you always can.
Life can be extremely difficult. But that doesn't mean you have to see it, and think of it, and live it that way.
No matter how overwhelming the bad stuff may seem to be, focus on the good stuff, on the love and joy and positive possibilities. And wherever your attention consistently goes, your life will quickly follow.
 Ralph Marston
