We were deeply saddened by the loss late last month, on November 29, of master poet Mark Strand—who received the Wallace Stevens Award in 2004 and served as an Academy Chancellor from 1995 to 2000. To celebrate his life and work, browse a slideshow of photographs, read and listen to his poems, and watch a video poem, featuring the poet himself.
