This floating greenhouse called Jellyfish Barge is the ultimate in green thinking and it also makes the riverside light up with it's magical lights. Unlike traditional methods of farming that heavily rely on soil and irrigation systems, the barge only uses solar, wind and tidal energy thanks to it's clever design, making it pretty much self sufficient and much better for the environment.

 

The project was commissioned by Italian design firm Studiomobile and has been designed with busy urban environments in mind. The raft offers people the chance to make use of what rivers and freshwater lakes have to offer whilst contributing positively to the community.
