the Asian continent has been reeling under the news of the earthquake that destroyed Nepal and surrounding areas, Chile in South America is battling a sudden volcanic eruption. These pictures from the eruption are breathtakingly beautiful, until you realise the terror it unleashed and the lives it destroyed. Then it just becomes scary.
1. Nature spoke of fury as the clouds darkened with thunder and lightening.
2. The volcanic ash rose high in the air and spread over a wide area.
3. The sight was as fearful as mesmerising.
4. It was indeed a fearful sight to behold!
6. The destruction caused by the volcano was widespread.
7. Workers clear up the ask from the roads in the volcano affected areas.
8. Vehicle tries to clear the volcanic mudflow caused by the sudden eruption.
9. A pool full of dead Salmon fish affected by the lahar from the volcanic eruption.
10. Residents living close to the volcano clear their homes of volcanic ash.
11. An area completely damaged by lahar from Calbuco eruption.
12. Soldiers help a resident cross a river completely turned black with volcanic ash and lahar.
13. Tepu river completely muddied with volcanic ash.
14. A children's playground completely destroyed by ash.
15. Boats and the harbour completely destroyed by the ash and eruptions.
16. Complete fields were covered in ash with nothing for the cattle to graze...
17. The entire town of Ensenada collapsed from the volcanic ash and the lahar. The residents were evacuated and taken to safer sites.
18. The volcano is still not complete cool and continues to spew out lahar and ash along with smoke. The area is completely submerged under ash.

20. The eruptions might have stalled for now but there is little respite for residents as the weather departments have warned the residents of unpredicted eruptions again. The volcano is back to life after 50 long years and despite the outburst, it is still not dormant and can activate anytime again.
