And more than anything, you end up missing the relaxed life you once had, because all of a sudden your weekends disappear into thin air. In other words, they suddenly seem crunched. Take a look at 8 ways your weekend has changed ever since you started working. Whether it's for better or worse depends on your perspective!  1. You have started making a to-do list.  Of course, this is a good habit, but these lists are full of tasks. Things like buying groceries, getting fuel for your car, salon visits, banks, meeting your relatives take all your time.   2. You don't look forward to Friday night plans.  Hah! You really have changed, haven't you?   All you want to do is go home, change into your tracks and do nothing. Watching music videos on TV or eating ice cream works just fine for you. If someone forces you to come out with them on a Friday night, you secretly label them as insane.  3. Your conversations revolve around car servicing and laundry.  Whenever you meet someone over the weekend, you always answer the 'what's up' question with, "Hey man! I had to get my car fixed and then I had to pick up some stuff for the house and also get my passbook updated."   4. The most important task for the weekend is sleeping.  The to-do list is accommodating about only one thing – sleeping. Catching up on sleep is priority. Not parties, drinks, uncles, aunts or girlfriends. Only and only SLEEP! Waking up on time has become a part of your lifestyle, because you understand how easy it is to squeeze extra things into your schedule if you wake up on time.  5. From shots, you've moved to sangria.  Shots are great, but sangria keeps you calm. You drink what you think is easy to handle. Because honestly, you can't handle a hangover any more. Fortunately or unfortunately, your drinking standards have changed.  6. You try and make your weekend productive.  If you manage to finish that book lying on your table, or manage to update your blog or do some photography, it makes you feel like you've accomplished something. At the end of the day, nothing beats the feeling of getting things done.  7. You have realised it's best to have a smaller friend group.  Keeping in touch with people requires effort. And you don't feel like making that effort with everyone. In fact, you don't even feel like going on a date unless you're really attracted to someone.  8. Crowded places annoy you.  You're done spending time in cafes and bars on weekends. You may also like: 3D Faces Printed from DNA in Discarded Objects Something Lurking In The Woods - Frightening or Not?   In 2009, people strolling in the woods near David Marshall Lodge in Scotland started finding themselves face-to-face with literal reflections of the landscape -- and sometimes of themselves. Hiding in plain sight in the woods are six mirrored figures (three men and three women), reflecting the trees, sky, and seasonal changes.   They look like ghostly inhabitants of another dimension, but they're actually an installation piece by artist Rob Mulholland. Mulholland's work includes various installations and sculptures that challenge our perceptions of time, space, and reality.   This piece is called Vestige, and combines multiple themes of history, memory, and the relationship between humans and nature. "I wanted to explore this relationship further by creating a group, a community within the protective elements of the woods, reflecting the past inhabitants of the space," Mulholland explains on his site.   This particular area of Scotland was originally open farm and grazing land, as well as a home to small farming communities. After World War I, the residents were relocated by the government, and the land was planted over with fast-growing trees, as the country was desperate for timber after the war. The area has remained a forest to this day, but you can still make out the remains of the old houses and villages that once existed here.   This history inspired Mulholland to create a link between the present, the past, and the land itself.   The figures represent the people who used to live on this land before being removed, but also the way humans can drastically alter nature.   Mulholland describes the six figures as representing "a faint trace of the past people and communities that once occupied and lived in this space." He goes on to explain. "The figures absorb their environment, reflecting in their surface the daily changes of life in the forest. They create a visual notion of non-space, a void, as if they are at one moment part of our world and then, as they fade into the forest, they become an intangible outline."     The intertwined nature of this installation goes even deeper once viewers are involved. If you approach the figures, you'll also see yourself. In this way, you, the viewer, become part of the piece as the present looks into the past and sees where it comes from. It also reflects humans in a (somewhat) natural environment, and how the natural and artificial constantly reflect one another.   At the bottom left, you can see Mulholland with one of his mirrored figures. These figures are featured in many of his pieces.   Vestige wasn't originally intended as such, but hikers liked it so much that it's become a permanent exhibit. You can still see it today if you're ever in the woods in this area of the world. As for Mulholland, he's been creating installations and sculptures since, and has had recent exhibits throughout Europe and in Korea. Lead actors Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan are too busy thanking the film fraternity and audience for their compliments. However, there is another person who is on cloud nine these days. Yes, we are talking about Deepak Dobriyal!   Deepak, who plays Pappiji in the film has been lauded for his comic timing and intriguing on-screen presence. You may also like: Ancient Achievements Still Unexplained By Modern Science Closest (Or Totally Accurate) UFO Conspiracy Theories   Whether UFOs are actually alien crafts or not, they're extremely interesting to think about. No one knows exactly what they are (hence the name), but there sure are plenty of theories.   Theories like these range from believable, to terrifying, to laughably entertaining.   1. The Black Knight Satellite   Last week, we went in-depth into just what the Black Knight Satellite is (or what it could be). The short version is that the Black Knight is a large satellite that's believed to have been orbiting Earth for the last 300,000 years. No one knows how it got there, but it's been detected by NASA multiple times.   2. John F. Kennedy Killed By CIA   The only thing that conspiracy theorists love more than speculating about UFOs is speculating about JFK's assassination. According to some theorists, just ten days before he was killed in Dallas, President Kennedy demanded "full disclosure" from the CIA regarding their investigations into unidentified flying objects. He also ordered the agency to share all of their UFO data with NASA. To avoid having to disclose their alleged links to UFOs, the CIA had Kennedy killed.   3. The Hologram Plan   This one is weird. In 2009, a strange, blue light formed in the night sky over Norway. While the explanation is likely meteorological, conspiracy theorists declared it to be a failed attempt at implementing Project Blue Beam. The theory goes that the "New World Order" plans to show a holographic projection simulating an alien invasion as a means to seize power. Clearly, they are still working out the kinks in their plan.   4. Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 vs. UFO   Theories abound about the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. The most interesting one claims that it was abducted by a UFO. The proof that believers offer for this particular theory is that the Malaysian air force detected an unidentified flying object on their radar just before the plane disappeared. If that's true, this theory would account for the lack of physical debris usually found in the event of a plane crash.   5. America's Hidden Space Fleet   While the United States has one of the most sophisticated terrestrial militaries in the world, when it comes to space warfare, we're woefully unqualified. Or are we? According to some theorists, NASA's mission for space exploration is merely a front. Their real purpose is to build and maintain a fleet of interstellar war ships that are in orbit above Earth as we speak. The evidence offered for this supposed space fleet is a cryptic reference to something called the Solar Warden Program in a leaked document from the U.S. State Department.   6. 2012 Olympic Alien Invasion   The 2012 Olympic Games were a triumph of human achievement. However, if you were a UFO conspiracy theorist, it was anything but. According to these folks, the 2012 Olympic mascots somehow conveyed a hidden message about an impending alien invasion. Instead of rooting for their home teams, theorists were busy stocking their emergency bunkers. When the invasion didn't happen, it was, of course, classified as a conspiracy. This time, the perpetrators were the Free Masons.   7. Alien Jesus   One of the most widely circulated UFO conspiracy theories out there is that Jesus was actually an alien. This one falls into the Ancient Aliens category of conspiracies. While it seems far out, it would explain pretty much all of Jesus's miracles.   8. Nazi UFOs In Antarctica   In 1946, America mounted a large, unprecedented expedition to Antarctica. The official reason was to beat the Soviets there. However, Nazi supporters maintain that the expedition was mounted to destroy a secret Nazi UFO base located there. The theory continues, saying that the "attack force" was repelled by the superior Nazi technology. In reality, bad weather forced the expedition to make a hasty return.   9. General MacArthur vs. Aliens   During a 1955 speech, General MacArthur is said to have made a comment about Earth-wide war against aliens. He urged the world to unite because the next great war could be a battle for Earth's very survival. Conspiracy theorists believe this was a reference to some specific knowledge that MacArthur had about the existence of aliens.   10. NASA Sent Astronauts To Another Planet   While humans have only officially visited the moon, UFO theorists believe humanity has gone much farther. They claim that a dozen astronauts were sent to a planet 37 light-years away called Serpo during the Kennedy administration. They were part of an exchange program implemented by grateful aliens who were saved after their spacecraft crashed in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947.   Those are some pretty insane theories. While it's very easy to dismiss those theories as products of overactive imaginations, what if they aren't? However unlikely, there's still the possibility that one or more of them are actually true. We're Heather and Scott, a pair of introverted industrial designers and the founders of Bike Balls.   If you aren't familiar with Bike Balls, they are essentially a rear bike light that you mount to the bottom of your seat that looks like a pair of bobbing, glowing testicles. We launched on Kickstarter two weeks ago and surpassed our goal in just three days. In the past two weeks of our campaign, many people have told us that our product is "nasty" and "offensive". While we (obviously) had some inclination of the crudeness of our bicycle light before we released the project, we decided to launch Bike Balls anyway – and here's why.   Our tagline is "it takes grit, wit, and balls to ride, so show em' what you got" – we believe in this and want cyclists to gain better visibility, while bringing a bit of humour to the commute, and diffusing any road tension between disgruntled drivers who don't like to share the road. Here are 7 of the most mysterious unsolved mysteries ever told. 1. Cicada 3301 Every January, for the last three years, one online puzzle game is hosted by someone who goes by the name 3301. Going by their symbol, a cicada, the complex puzzle draws on elements of cryptography, mathematics, literature, hidden messages, data security, and philosophy. Along with this, oddly enough, physical clues appear in places as diverse as Poland, Hawaii, Spain, Australia, and Korea. When inquired 3301 claimed that the puzzles are an attempt to find 'intelligent individuals'. Nobody knows why. Many believe these almost impossible-to-solve puzzles are more like a recruitment vehicle for organisations like the CIA or MI6. 2. Flight MH370 It was a case that put most around the world in a frenzy, and it has been a mystery that has perplexed many. On Saturday, 8 March, 2014, while flying from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Beijing Capital International Airport, Malaysian Airlines 370 or MH370 just disappeared into thin air. Flight 370 last made voice contact with air traffic control at 01:19 MYT (17:19 UTC, 7 March) when it was over the South China Sea, less than an hour after takeoff, and the aircraft disappeared from air traffic controllers' radar screens at 01:21 MYT (17:21 UTC). Despite being the largest and most expensive search in aviation history, there has been no confirmation of any flight debris. According to famous theories, the MH370 plane was hijacked but till date, no one has taken responsibility. A story circulated on Reddit that MH370 had sufficient fuel to be hijacked to North Korea as was done in 1969 with Korean Airlines YS-11. In fact, from meteor strikes to alien abduction, MH370 has been surrounded by a number of conspiracy theories. 3. The Pollock Twins This one's a thriller! In 1957, sisters, 11-year-old Joanna and 6-year-old Jacqueline Pollock were tragically killed in a car accident in Northumberland, England. Roughly about a year after. their mother gave birth to twins Jennifer and Gillian. The odd bit was that the younger twin, Jennifer, had birthmarks in the exact same place as Jacqueline. It got quite eerie for the mother when the twins began requesting toys belonging to the deceased girls which they had no prior knowledge of. The twins even asked to go to a park they had never been to before. Reincarnation? Go figure!  4. Ram Bahadur Bomjon Nicknamed 'Buddha Boy' by the locals of Ratanapuri village, Nepal, Ram Bahadur Bomjon is one mysterious phenomena. Bomjon's great ability is to remain nearly motionless in the same position day after day with no regard for extreme weather including, cold winters and monsoon rains. On 16th May 2005, he began his meditation in the hollow tree, but mysteriously disappeared, and was later found by some followers a week later. He told them he had left his meditation place, where large crowds had been watching him, "because there is no peace". He then went his own way and reappeared elsewhere in Nepal on December 26, 2006, but left again on March 8, 2007. 5. The Bermuda Triangle I'm sure you've heard, and seen enough about the Bermuda Triangle. The Bermuda Triangle (also known as the Devil's Triangle) is an area bound by points in Bermuda, Florida and Puerto Rico, where ships and planes are said to mysteriously vanish into thin air or deep water. Over the years, the Bermuda Triangle has been a hot spot for theories. Many believe that the "Lost City of Atlantis" may lie at the bottom, and use "Crystal Energies" to shrink the ships. Many theories suggest that it's a "Portal" for time travel or a base for underwater aliens. Many theories, but nobody knows the truth. 6. The Wow! Signal Jerry R. Ehman was scanning radio waves from deep space (Big Ear Radio Telescope) while he was working on a project for SETI, (the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence), hoping to randomly come across a signal that could prove the existence of intelligent life in outer space, when he saw his measurements spike strong on 15th August 1977. The signal lasted for 72 seconds. It was loud and appeared to have been transmitted from a place no human has gone before in the constellation Sagittarius near a star called Tau Sagittarii, 120 light-years away. Ehman wrote the words "Wow!" on the original printout of the signal, thus its title as the "Wow! Signal." Ever since, every attempt to locate the signal again has failed, leading to much controversy and mystery about its origins and its meaning. 7. The Zodiac Killer The story of the Zodiac Killer has to go down in the annals of history as one of the scariest serial killers ever. He operated in Northern California in the late 60s and early 70s. During this time, the Zodiac murdered four men and three women between December 1968 and October 1969. The killer came into the public limelight, and originated the name 'Zodiac' in a series of taunting letters sent to the local press. Of the four cryptograms sent by the Zodiac, only one has been solved definitively.
