About This Poem

 

“Moth Moon” was published in Mastin’s book Green Leaves (J. T. White & Co., 1918).

 

Florence Ripley Mastin was born in Wayne, Pennsylvania, in 1886. She published several books of poetry, including Over the Tappen Zee, and other poems (Fine Editions Press, 1962) and Cables of Cobweb (H. Harrison, 1935). She died in 1968.
