Poonam Pandey's BUSTY Dress Barely Contains her

'Should I text or should I let him text first?'

'Should I say hi, or let her introduce herself?'

'Should I like the picture or let him do it?'

If your crush scene is stuck somewhere between these thoughts, chances are it's never going to move forward. We often give too much importance to who makes the move first. It's almost become a matter of pride. 'If she likes me, she will talk' is a common notion people follow while getting into the dating game.

However, it's totally wrong to expect others to make the first move. Life could be uncomplicated if you keep your pride aside and listen to your feelings. Making a move first doesn't mean that you have no self-respect. It only means you value the relationship and listen to your heart. If you're in a dilemma of 'should I or should I not', here are some logical reasons why you should.

1. Time is very precious, so is your crush

What if while doing this should-I-shouldn't- I dance, your crush goes ahead with someone else? Therefore, stop wasting time giving confusing hints. Time is precious. You can't take three years to ask someone out. Nobody waits that long.

2. You like someone, you tell them

It's that simple. You don't have to say that you want to make babies in your first meeting. A simple 'hi, wassup' will give them a hint that you want to talk to them. If they don't text back or return your 'hi', you know they aren't interested and it saves your time.

3. Breaking the stereotype

Many girls think that guys should make the first move. It's high time we break this stereotype. In fact, a guy should feel fortunate to find a girl who knows what she wants. Guys should make a note that girls who make the first move are not desperate. It's just that they are smart and have no patience for the 'pehle aap' game.

4. Don't let your friends judge you

When you tell your friends that you like someone, they make it a point to force their opinion on you. Your bestie will suggest you 'show attitude', while a good friend will tell you to do 'what your heart says'. When you tell them you were the first one to 'ping', 99 percent of your friends will judge you for doing so. Don't feel bad - you did what you felt was right.

5. It's a great way to know if they like you

Only your first move will tell you whether they are interested in you or they don't share the same feelings. It will at least make you test the waters and how deep it is.

6. It shows that you can overcome your fear

Making a move first is not easy. It's, in fact, brave and courageous to take the first step. You decide to rise above the fear of rejection and mockery and take a risk of being brave and ask someone out. If you are the one who has made the first move, you must be proud of yourself as not many are as courageous as you.

7. It shows you've got your priorities right

It shows that you're not afraid of taking chances and that you listen to your heart. You take the hint and move forward. However, if you don't see such signs, you're wise enough to move on. This shows that you don't get stuck in a situation, but try to get out of it.

8. Introverts can't make the first move

And therefore, you should. People who are shy and don't express their feelings easily go through a tough time when they fall in love. It is therefore on you to ease their pain. They would jump with joy to see your text and will respond positively and will tell you later that you texting first was the best thing ever because they would never have.
