Along with the being the spookiest month of the year, October is also American Archives Month. Take a look at We the Poets, a project of poets reading poems they wrote inspired by holdings from the National Archives.

Get Lit–Words Ignite, a Los Angeles-based organization that engages at-risk youth through poetry has published this empowering and socially conscious collection of poems by teens.
