Submit to Our Poetry Prizes
We're now accepting submission for the James Laughlin Award, given to support a second book of poetry forthcoming in the next calendar year, and the Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize, awarded to the most outstanding book of poetry published in the United States in the previous calendar year. Deadline: May 15.
Poetry Coalition on Migration
Poetry organizations across the country will join forces next month to feature events, projects, and publications on the shared theme Because We Come From Everything: Poetry & Migration. We'll be devoting a week of Poem-a-Day to the effort, so keep an eye out. And join us in helping to spread the word using #WeComeFromEverything.

Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise Part of the American Masters series, a new documentary film about the beloved poet premieres on February 21 on PBS across the United States.
