About This Poem

Man Ray was born on August 27, 1890, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Known as an influential photographer who played a major role in the Dada and Surrealist movements, he is the author of Self-Portrait (Little Brown, 1963). He died on November 18, 1976, in Paris, France.
