Louise Glück Collected & Tribute The Academy of American Poets is happy to announce that our former Chancellor Louise Glück's new poetry collection, Poems 1962-2012, is forthcoming this November from Farrar, Straus and Giroux, and Ecco Press. For your reading pleasure, here are some of the poems that will be included in the soon-to-be published collection: The Wild Iris The Red Poppy Vespers To celebrate this occasion, the Academy of American Poets will hold a tribute event on December 14 in New York City. Poets Frank Bidart, Dana Levin, Robert Pinsky, Peter Streckfus, and Ellen Bryant Voigt will join Glück on stage to read selections of her work. Poets Forum Kick-off Tomorrow!
This Thursday, the Chancellors of the Academy of American Poets come together on one stage to read their poems and kick off the 6th Annual Poets Forum, a three-day series of events exploring contemporary poetry through readings, discussions, walking tours, and more.
