Students in Bihar made news around the world when family members climbed up the building to pass chits to their wards with the full cooperation of bribed officials and invigilators. The education minister of Bihar admitted that keeping such behaviour at bay is a huge task.
While cheating in exams in not unknown to us, the education minister of Bihar isn't completely wrong. Students will always risk their reputation when they're desperate. These are just some of the classics.
1. Writing the answers along the sides of the fingers
Even if invigilators do a brief check, they only focus on the palms of your hands rather than the depths of your fingers. Just don't stretch your fingers or splay them out
Stupid because: You can't keep your fingers glued together through out the entire exam.
2. Writing answers on fingers and then covering it up with rings
It's risky business considering one has to be completely discreet once the rings come off.
Stupid because: Fidgeting with rings can catch the attention of examiners.
3. Girls writing answers on the hems of their skirts
It's been proven to work given your teachers are male.
Stupid because: How much are you going to write on your skirt?
4. Hiding cellphones under clothes
Stupid because: When it starts buzzing, you're basically screwed.
5. Hiding chits inside socks
Stupid because: It's a waste of time getting the damn thing out of the socks in the first place.
6. Morse Code
This method is used for multiple answer tests. Where one tap is for A, two for B and so on.
A more discreet method is using different stationary to signal the answer.
Not stupid, in fact it's brilliant.
7. Writing the answers minutely on water bottle stickers and caps
Stupid because: One could spend that much effort actually studying, or perhaps producing a piece of art.
8. The thighs have the answers
A girl in my school wrote the answers on her thighs and wore a skirt with tights underneath. She just had to stretch the material of her tights to see through.
Stupid because: She got caught while distracting several guys.
9. Touching different parts of the face to communicate the answer
Stupid because: Most conspiring students forget which signal is for which answer in the multiple choice exam.
10. Charming the teacher
Stupid because: 95% of the time it doesn't work, especially if you're a guy.
11. Faking a period
Some girls in American schools pretended it was that time of the month and carried sanitary pads or tampons with answers and notes written on them.

12. The eraser
Stupid because: Teachers aren't dumb anymore, and the first thing they'll do is make you remove the paper covering your eraser.
