Urvashi Rautela's Yummylicious Body Exposed

We all have that one friend who isn't happy with her/his job. They always go on ranting when asked about 'how are things at work?' Apart from abusing their bosses and colleagues, they would tell you how they are struggling to keep up at their workplace and in general with their life.

At such times, you've got to step up and be a good friend by helping them to get better at their career and also generally in life too.

1. Help them build a strong resume

A brief resume with no grammatical errors can bag them a good interview call. Help them build a strong resume first. Add their achievements and skill sets, if they haven't already.

2. Endorse them on Linkedin

Professional networking sites are important too. Endorsing them for the skills they are good at would look great on their profile.

3. Recommend them to your network

If your network is good, ask people around whether they need people. And, if there are vacancies, recommend your friend's name for them.

4. Listen before talking

If your friend tells you that they hate their job and then they don't elaborate, they are hesitating to tell their sad story. Give them time to open up and only then start giving your opinion.

5. Don't brag about how great your job is

The worst thing you could do is talking non-stop how cool your job is. Your friend really doesn't want to feel low by knowing about the awesome perks and a great pay package.

6. Suggest article links and books

You can send them articles which offer suggestion on how to deal with bad bosses, bitchy colleagues and getting a hike. You can also share motivational books that would pump up their morale.

7. Accompany them on a short trip

If they ask you to accompany them on a short trip, then say yes. In fact suggest one. During the journey, discuss with them why things are not that bad as they are thinking them to be.

8. Encourage them to take up a long-lost hobby

If your friend is a  photographer, then encourage them to pick up the camera and go out clicking. A hobby can help them to see that there are things beyond a job that would make them happy.

9. Keep passing on some freelance work

You can also suggest them to take up some freelance projects, which would give them an opportunity to make some quick bucks.
