[Fropki] Stupidest Ways To Accidentally Kill Yourself

Posted: 02 Nov 2012 08:38 PM PDT

(Please let the pics open. Might take some time on a slower connection.

Kim Kardashian had a Halloween Birthday Bash in Miami

1. Wearing Too Long a Scarf

In the 1920s, Dancer Isadora Duncan was a ravishing beauty with a long, slender neck. She also enjoyed wearing long flowing scarves and going for drives in the French countryside. Unfortunately, that combination of desires proved to be fatal: while sitting in the passenger seat of a sports car, her red scarf blew back and got caught in the rear-wheel axle, snapping her lovely neck in two and killing her instantly.

2. Eat Too Much Pudding

There is gluttony, and then there is King Adolf Frederick of Sweden. On February 12, 1771, the King sat down for a meal… and never got up. After eating a meal fit for a King, consisting of lobster, caviar, and champaigne, he decided to top it off with something sweet. Adolph managed to consume 14 bowls of Semla, his favorite type of pudding, before his digestive system failed. I am not pudding you on.

3. Playing Music Too Loudly

LOOK OUT, THERE'S A HELICOPTER ABOUT TO CRASH!!! Isaiah Otieno might have heard that, or the terrifying sounds of an out-of-control helicopter… if he hadn't been wearing headphones. Otieno was out for a walk in British Columbia to mail a letter when the freak accident occurred, killing the pilot and occupants as well as the hapless pedestrian. Sometimes it pays to pay attention.

4. Die Ironically: Owner of Segway Inc. dies on Segway

Call it a twist of fate, or just plain idiocy. James W. Heselden had recently taken charge of the Segway company – you know, those annoying, two wheeled devices that were supposed to be all the rage, but instead have been adopted only by postal officers and mall cops? Out for a victory ride, perhaps, Heselden accidentally steered his Segway off the cliffs near his home in England. As the old saying goes, live by the Segway, die by the Segway….

5. Playing Too Many Video Games

The last thing he saw...

To say that Lee Seung Seop had a video game addiction is somewhat of an understatement – he quit his job in order to devote more time to playing. In August 2005, he began a marathon video game at a local South Korean coffeeshop. Playing for 50 hours straight, only stopping for naps or bathroom breaks, he collapsed from dehydration and heart failure. Game over.

6. Jump Off Eiffel Tower in Parachute Suit Test

Franz Reichelt, a French tailor, was obsessed with his idea of creating a wearable parachute suit for aviators who might be in danger. He called himself The Flying Tailor, and arranged to have a test run for his invention atop the Eiffel Tower on Feb. 4, 1912, promising to use a dummy. It turns out he did use a dummy – himself – and horrified onlookers watched as he strapped on the para-suit and promptly plunged to his death. Thanks to YouTube, his first and final jump has been preserved for all to watch.

7. Sex and Viagra Overdose

This guy was F-ing stupid. Two girls bet Sergey Tuganov, a 28-year-old man, $3000 he couldn't go at it all day in the sack with them. To prove them wrong the Russian downed an entire bottle of Viagra and went for it. Twelve hours later, he won the bet… but died of a heart attack.

[Fropki] Incredibly Sexist Products You Can Actually Buy

Posted: 02 Nov 2012 09:34 AM PDT

(Please let the pics open. Might take some time on a slower connection.

Megan Fox - Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans Ad

A major South African clothing company has pulled T-shirts from its stores after complaints that slogans on the men's shirts were sexist. The shirts, withdrawn by The Foschini Group, had slogans including "How to get laid" and "I put the STD in STUD, all I need is U," the South African Press Association reports.

The "How to get laid" T-shirt also listed some options: "borrow your dad's Porsche," "flash a lot of cash," and "lie and tell her you love her."

Vajazzling is definitely one of the newest beauty trends which has raised a lot of controversy from people. For those of you who don't know it is the term given to the new trend in which the female genitals are given a sparkly makeover with crystals so as to enhance their appearance. You can buy different shapes and texts, such as this very questionable one.

This offensive, horrid and sexist product is being sold in the Orange stores in the UK. Made by David & Goliath Tees. Would buy it for your little girl?

Apparently, no home office is complete without the headless form of a naked woman on all fours with a pencil shoved up her ass. Or elsewhere.

Wanna have some fun? Slide this doll over your car antenna and she will give you miles of fun. She moves with the motion of your car. Get used to people pointing fingers at the doll while you are waiting for the light to turn green .For $29.95 you can show your disrespect towards women.

'Get Back In The Kitchen' car decal available at Amazon for $5.00. It will surely make you popular in your neighborhood.

Let Lusty Linda the Pen Holder (aka Mrs. All Busts) sun-bath on your desk. When you stick in a pen, she will moan, groan or say any of 10 different things. A switch on the bottom lets you set Linda's mood, from good or bad. (too bad all women did not have such a switch). Lusty Linda the Pen Holder says 10 different things including, "ooow (ouch)!," "Get out you, you dirty old man!," "What are you looking at?," "Help! Help!," and "Oh ooh (excited)."

Don't believe it? See it for yourself.

Nothing is more effective in selling a product than telling women their used-up vadges are ruining their relationships.

Meanwhile, over in the UK, Emma Barnett, the Digital Media Editor at the Daily Telegraph (and a radio/digital presenter) found this washing instructions tag inside her boyfriend's new pants—which came from British streetwear retailer Madhouse. Here's what the tag says, after the standard info on washing warm and tumbling dry medium: "Or give it to your woman, it's her job."

Nestlé's Yorkie bar, a chunkier alternative to Cadbury's Dairy Milk, was aimed at men. In the 1980s for example, toy lorries with the Yorkie bar logo were manufactured by Corgi, and television advertisements for the Yorkie bar featured truck drivers. In 2001, the advertisement campaign made this more explicit with the slogan and wrapper tagline It's not for girls , which caused controversy. Nestlé also received complaints about this campaign from Norwegian and UK people, who found it sexist and distasteful. In 2006 a special edition that was for girls was sold, wrapped in pink. Aside from the original milk chocolate bar, several variants are available, such as "raisin and biscuit" flavour, "honeycomb" flavour, and Yorkie Ice Cream.

Aerofex Hoverbike, Yes It's real.

A resurrected hover vehicle won't fly through dense forests as effortlessly as the "Star Wars" speeder bikes from "Return of the Jedi," but its intuitive controls could someday allow anyone to fly it without pilot training.

joinGroup

The aerial vehicle resembles a science fiction flying bike with two ducted rotors instead of wheels, but originates from a design abandoned in the 1960s because of stability and rollover problems.

joinGroup

Aerofex, a California-based firm, fixed the stability issue by creating a mechanical system — controlled by two control bars at knee-level — that allows the vehicle to respond to a human pilot's leaning movements and natural sense of balance.

joinGroup

joinGroup

"It essentially captures the translations between the two in three axis (pitch, roll and yaw), and activates the aerodynamic controls required to counter the movement — which lines the vehicle back up with the pilot," De Roche told InnovationNewsDaily. "Since [the pilot's] balancing movements are instinctive and constant, it plays out quite effortlessly to him."

joinGroup

But Aerofex does not plan to immediately develop and sell a manned version. Instead, the aerospace firm sees the aerial vehicle as a test platform for new unmanned drones — heavy-lift robotic workhorses that could use the same hover technology to work in agricultural fields, or swiftly deliver supplies to search-and-rescue teams in rough terrain.

joinGroup

Even the soldiers or Special Forces might use such hover drones to carry or deliver heavy supplies in the tight spaces between buildings in cities. U.S. Marines have already begun testing robotic helicopters to deliver supplies in Afghanistan.

joinGroup

The hovering drones would not fly as efficiently as helicopters because of their shorter rotor blades, but their enclosed rotors have the advantage of a much smaller size and safety near humans.

joinGroup

"They are less efficient than a helicopter, which has the benefit of larger diameter rotors," De Roche explained. "They do have unique performance advantages, though, as they have demonstrated flight within trees, close to walls and under bridges."

November Night

Listen. . .

With faint dry sound,
Like steps of passing ghosts,
The leaves, frost-crisp'd, break from the trees
And fall.

[Hindi_Jokes] These Are Cakes

Posted: 02 Nov 2012 04:56 AM PDT

Fancy a slice of a giant prawn, a KFC bucket or a toolbox? Incredible cake designs make everyday objects look good enough to eat

By Bianca London

|

At a quick glance you could be forgiven for thinking these images were just a display of everyday items, but the KFC bucket, the crown and even the toolbox pictured here are all in fact completely edible cakes.

Every spanner, chicken nugget, sewing needle and fishing hook has been made as part of a competition entry by the staff at North Devon Hospital.

In a stitch: You could be forgiven for thinking these images were of nothing more than everyday items like a sewing box, but in fact each and every thread and needle is edible

Meg Davis, Nigel Howes and Kayleigh Maurice created the sweet treats for the 'Salon Culinaire', a global culinary competition that pits professional chefs against each other.

Mrs Davis said it took upwards of 40 hours to create such a masterpiece and there is something for everyone, from a jewelry box for the girls to tool boxes for the boys.

'I always choose novelty themes for a bit of fun.

'It's an intricate thing - I usually make twice as much as I need for the finished product.

'But I enjoy the reaction they get.'

The range of cakes varies from a giant lobster and KFC bucket to a sewing and tool kit where each and every needle and thread is edible.
