"Clean your spirit."
When our mothers told us to clean our rooms, they were unwittingly giving us a gift that would have lasting repercussions. Although we grumbled when asked for the umpteenth time to clear the mess, we were actually doing more than physically cleaning our rooms. We were cleaning our spirits as well.
There is a spiritual side to everything – even household chores. Cluttered rooms are often indicative of a cluttered mind. Messy houses may point to messy lives. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life, go clean a closet. It's the quickest and cheapest therapy for regaining a sense of control and a feeling of accomplishment.
From that platform of confidence, you can then go on to solve the more difficult aspects of your life, knowing that you have solidarity and order backing you up.
Cleaning a closet, a room, or an entire house can give you a real sense of power. It's like saying to the universe: "My house is in order!"

Don't worry, be happy, and dance your way through life
No matter what life gives you, you can turn it around.
I love to laugh! Who doesn't? The subconscious mind, however, has no sense of humor. If you make a joke about yourself or put yourself down and just think—Oh, it doesn't mean anything, I'm only kidding myself—the subconscious mind accepts it as true and creates this thought accordingly. So we have to learn to use our humor lovingly and wisely.
There's so much humor in life that it's not necessary to denigrate another person or group with put-downs. Even in humor we're working to help make the world a more loving and safer place to live.
Because words have power, I pay attention to them and carefully select them. I know my thoughts and my words shape my life, like a potter shapes clay into a bowl, a vase, a dinner plate, or a teapot. I am the words I think and speak. So why not create space inside myself for loving, optimistic, and cheerful patterns to constantly germinate, take root, and grow? Laughter is good.
You are the light of the world. Follow your inner star to sparkle and shine in your own unique way. You have a beautiful soul, and an outer body and a personality. But your soul is the center. Your soul is the part of you that's eternal. Your soul can't be hurt or destroyed. It can only be enriched by whatever your life experiences are. I believe that laughing, singing, and dancing are natural, normal spontaneous expressions. So, don't worry, be happy, and dance your way through life.

Some people
When you express your ideas, some people will criticize and reject those ideas and your expression of them. Go ahead and express them anyway, learn what you can from the feedback, and watch your confidence soar.
When you live your life with absolute fidelity to the authentic person you are, some people will laugh and make fun of you. Let them laugh, and let that laughter make your enjoyment of your own true fulfillment all the more sweet.
If you admit you don't know something, some people might think you're stupid or ignorant. Take comfort and satisfaction in reminding yourself that effective learning begins when you admit you do not know.
Create value with honesty and integrity, and some people will look for ways to take unfair advantage of you. Be smart, be aware, be diligent and you can always stay several steps ahead of their dishonesty.
Some people will complain and whine and berate you and spread vicious rumors about you behind your back. Yet you can always choose to let their negativity be their problem, and not yours.
Don't let the pettiness of some people slow you down for even a moment. Step forward with purpose, passion, positivity and confidence, and make your world the best it can be.
