Instead of the traditional rock climbing wall, the designers of this gym have used interior decorating items like mirrors, bird cages, picture frames, flower vases and deer heads as footholds and handholds, to give you a good workout. The idea was to combine the ruggedness of an outdoor sport with the sophistication of Tokyo's fashion district. Pretty cool, huh?

At Studio Anya, you can float, swing or fly your way to fitness, with customised workouts that combine yoga, dance and Pilates. While they also offer a number of massages, their AntiGravity classes are the most popular!

An annual membership at this luxurious gym will set you back $30,000, but the fabulous views of the river and the city may just be worth it. Designed like a recreation centre, this state of the art gym has a number of customised training programs to suit every fitness enthusiast.

Located in Morocco's most lavish hotel, this gym overlooks the property's sprawling 20 acre gardens. With great views and private rooms for yoga, aerobics and other fitness classes, it adjoins a lavish pool and spa.
9. Kachalka
Where: Kiev, Ukraine
This outdoor gym was assembled from scrap metal in the 1970s, and is free for anyone to use. Most of the equipment is made from vehicular parts and dismantled machinery, with people using stacked tyres as punching bags and free weights that are anchored by heavy chains. Despite its rustic (read: rusty) appearance, the fact that it's free ensures that it's a popular hotspot for fitness fans!
