"Six O'Clock" was published in The Poems of Trumbull Stickney (Houghton Mifflin, 1905).

 

Trumbull Stickney was born in Geneva, Switzerland, on June 20, 1874. In 1902, he published his debut poetry collection, Dramatic Verses (C. E. Goodspeed, 1902). He died two years later on October 11, in Boston, Massachusetts.
